Have you been delaying your tasks and keeping it pending? If yes, what could be the reason? Is it too challenging to complete or you simply feel its a big task. Many of us don't complete our tasks because of such thoughts. However, if it is something that you need to finish within a stipulated time then why not do it. I would say some of us are lazy, consider it boring and there are few others who lack the drive to succeed.
There are some ways to banish the procrastination process, some of them are:
1. Do exercise- Keeping up with the exercise routine helps one sail through successfully while completing any task. It is easy to get lazy if you are not excited about your work but doing it just for the heck of it. But, if you have a task in hand that you delay consider doing exercise in between. Then, switch back to work zone. Not only will it help in keeping you energised but offer you boost in your ability.
2. Drink plenty of water- One of the tips to stay in the track during your work hours is to drink plenty of water. If you are low on energy, your concentration level drops, but then when you intake at least 3-5 glasses of water that's more than enough to you hydrated and not fall back to sleep.
3. Consider taking a coffee or tea- Studies have shown by research that coffee and tea instantly peps you up and if you are feeling drowsy then having any of it lightens your mind as well affect your mood. It freshens you up and make you productive to be able to focus the job.
4. Make a to do list- Prepare a to do list routine. Maintain a calendar or a diary and segregate the work accordingly. Specially if it is a big project you might consider planning your schedule and follow the tasks.
5. Don't check social media- Does anyone consider social media a distraction? Well, it can divert you for sure if you aren't someone who is consistently managing your time. We often get hooked into the social media sites and end up giving more time to that than our work. Make it a habit to check only during break time else you might end up neglecting your task.
